Was listening to Sean Hannity today and he really gave this topic a ride. Same thoughts... if this were a male teacher and a female student, the teacher would be in jail. (Bipolar, would not hold water)
But, since this a cute, young blond female teacher, (with a mental disorder) ahhhh, the shoe is on a different foot???
Now, let's say the average guy were diagnosed with Bipolar issues and lured a 14-16 year old female into having kinky sex where ever and what not, what do you think the prosecuters would do in this case?
A male would be put in jail for a long time. He'd then be discharged and on probation for many years. He would then be "black listed" as a known "sex offender", could not get a decent job or live a peaceful existance, the rest of his natural life.
I call "FOUL" on this one. This is a double standard that society should not tolerate. It will be interesting to see what becomes of this case, now that it hit the media, she admitted her guilt and just got a "sweet slap on the butt".

She should still lose her job, and admitting to a crime as part of a plea bargain should force her to register as a sex offender. She has admitted to doing so. Heck, a guy with a legitimate mental illness would still have to register as a sex offender!!!

He also thinks the Bipolar issue is a media ploy. He states she did not take any personal responibilty for her actions.
Sean brings a new angle out too... handsome/pretty people, generally get a better deal in life. In the shallow, appearance is everything mentality of the media and people in general. If one is average or just plain frumpy looking, it would be throw them to the wolves, in a heartbeat.

However, knowing you, eventually you would run the prison facility and have "party girls" (hoe's) coming in for monthly congegal visits and weekend poker games with the warden and guards. Now, she has been cited for hindering this guy's upward mobility in the MPS FD. She's now on leave, pending an investigation... yeah, yeah, yeah; I get the picture very well.
He is S.O.L. and she's on LOA, until the FD figures out the juicy details.

Looks like I picked a good day to be away from my pc. I was havin fun doing the install gig. did wiring on a boat, glassed and carpeted a box. It was sunny and in the 70's and I had to work outside all day, thank god I had sun screen loation in my truck......

We are getting some warmer weather this week. (upper 50's/low 60's) but it will be a few more weeks of flakey weather until we see the 70 degree mark on a regular basis. However, Spring is definitely in the air!
