Anybody hear, "all wild DJ's he will tame" b4? Replies (4) demetman on 03/8/2006 23:33:58 Magic Mike is the classic old school Bass King! I was first introduced to DJ Magic Mike about 15 years ago by a friend with a trunk full of Hollywood Bass Tubes and several Punch series amps(I guess the equipment a lone gives the era away) At 15 years old from then on I was hooked on Magic Mike and trunk ratteling bass. Since then I have updated my collection from tapes to CD and own most of his work. Most recent updates are Magic Mike and the royal posse, and Back to haunt you. Let me know if you ever heard any other good stuff in that genre. ttocs on 03/9/2006 00:44:12 rockin old school with the blaupunkt tape pullout(code protected!) and the bazooka here............ compvr15s on 03/9/2006 14:07:52 i remember when i was young, cant remember how long ago but my brother used to have a pull out alpine tape deck with alpine carry case lol, that seems so funny. but he had alpine splits, and 6x9s, 2 15inch mtx subs, something special back then, he thinks they might have beena flagship model or maybe some type of prototype. an alpine 150 watt amp, and a RF 200-300 watt amp cant remember, also eq and for a while he had a center channel, i think RF if memory serves, all that in a shelby hatchback, one of the loudest systems ive ever head and it was clean sounding to me back then, no distortion... seems funny that the system may have been 500 watts or so max, now adays ppl are up over 600 watts rms just to move the trunk a lil, and some up over 2000 watts. i do remember he got an alpine cdplayer when they first came out, but he ended up going back to the tape deck cuz the technology just wasnt very good bakc then i guess... Ash on 03/9/2006 17:52:36 I've got quite a lot street/techno bass material that I have collected over the years. Too many songs and groups to name, but one of my long time favorites is Dynamix II.
