The monitor reads an error and its only illegal if its on while your driving and i have 2yr twins and the only time they are quiet was when we were riding in one of my old friends had a monitor in his car but it was on when we drove also around and i was just seeing if its possible to to that to this also

did some one delete my post on this?

I too agree that it is a cop out for parents to put in a monitor to keep the kids quiet. There are better ways and the kids will be better for it. I have a bit of chip on my shoulder about this how ever as it is always the stuff shoved in for the kids that mysteriously quits working,"I don't know what happened to it?". I have had this happen many times and they always "play" stupid.

EX: customer comes in complaining to me that her cd/dvd mysteriously does not work and of course it should for how much she paid for it! After pulling her dash apart to remove the player, we found 72 cents inside of it, and she could not understand why it was not coverered under the warrenty. Seems to me a kid small enough to put change in a player should not be using it..........

I am how ever in a bit of a bad mood from work today so that could be part of it.

There was a case in alaska last year where they were thinking about trying a person for murder after he/she drifted across the road and hit another car head on, killing the people. It was noticed that he/she had an indash DVD player.

That's deep! Never looked at it that way, then again I never desired one of those either.

depends on the twinsSMILE...............

What was priceless was the look on my and my supervisors face when we pulled the deck out of the dash. I greated her when she walked in and of course she raised such a ruckus my boss had to see what was going on. He sat on the passenger side(to get away from her although it just made her louder) and you could hear it "clink" when I released if from the dash, and pulled it out. We both made a THINK look, and then I shook it two more times to hear "clink clink" THINK x 2 look, and then had to smile a bit when we looked at each other "clink clink clink". We knew what it was immediatly as at that point she was yelling at her kid(cough brat) to not play with the water jug in the waiting room........

You just can't write that stuff. the only story I have that would top that one at BBY would be when I found the dead body, I would need a new topic on that one.....

Valid point-I may not even hook it up anymore b/c i dont want my kids to be selfcenterd brats at all. But finding out thier mother was PoPular(whore) after we were married was hard on us all. Its hard being a single father with two kids that have ADD some times i could just use the help

Being a single parent with two year old twins... both ADHD. Hell ya it's hard work. Just try not to lose your temper when they act up and are out of control. It's OK to put them in a crib or playpen, leave the room and have a sanity break. It's manditory at times!

The Ex and I had our hands full with two hyper kids too. We went to ADHD meetings, read lots of material on same and the funny thing about all this was, we figured out I was partially ADHD and Ex was very ADD too. Like they say... "fruit tends to fall close to the tree". I think we had banana and nut trees going on in our scenario.

Hang in there,
Swez
