Victor... Victor on 02/20/2006 11:13:15 Hey, can you gimme the T/s parameters of the sub you wanna use, tried lookin on Alpine's website but could not get the specs.. Thanks... Victor... P.s :- If you wanna experiment there are definitely lots of designs you could look at, but if you dont wanna go wrong and get a guaranteed +ve result then going with a sealed enclosure would yeild definite results.. T/l, Bp, Horns, ebs,abc etc are huge boxes, it may also become uncomfortable to accomodate the box in the available space. compvr15s on 02/20/2006 16:31:50 http://www.crutchfield.com/S-fPPbtJNpGum/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=520&id=features_and_specs&i=500SWR1242#Tab there are a few specs, here is another link http://www.stylestandard.net/oswego/Rooms/FrameMacro this is the tech center page. then go down to owner manuals, then to subwoofers, then to 2004(im not sure how much different the new ones are from the ones listed but they dont have to updated specs) then goto the corresponding sub. this will bring up the ,pdf thats the best i can do unless somebody on the site here has a type r 12 and could be kind enough to post the parameters... thanx for all the help so far vic... im sure ill do a sealed enclosure, but would like to just experiment with something different, if i cant get to work or sound how i want oh well, just another learning experince... SMILE theres good in everything. Victor on 02/20/2006 16:41:37 do u have yahoo, msn real time messengers??? am online now, we can talk there.. CLAP http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/Manuals/500/500SWR1242.PDF I don't see a full diclosure of T/S parameters here, but there may be enough to figure out the key aspects of what the sub can do.
