Does anybody have any experience with the JL e4300 series amp? It looks decent on paper and I was just wondering if anyone owns one or know's someone who does. Thanks, Jay Replies (2) LC1 on 02/15/2006 22:17:08 P.S. Wanted to add one more thing. If you had to choose between this JL e4300 or the Alpine MRP-F240 which one would you guys pick. Sorry for the which is better A or B post but I am stuck between these two because the price can't be beaten for both. The only thing to consider is that the JL is $50 more. Also I will be using this amp to power my 5.25 in coaxials until i get a pair of 6.5" components. Depending what comps. I get I will be running both sets of speakers on this amp. Or if I decide to I may buy one set of high powered componets and bridge the 4ch amp into 2ch and run the coaxials off the HU. So if anybody can help me decide on which one to get that would be greatly appreciated. JL e4300 - $200 Alpine MRP-F240 - $150 (Canadian Dollars) Thanks, Jay swez on 02/16/2006 07:06:25 Both are fine amps in their own right. If I had to make this choice, I'd go with the JL as it has more power, depending on input voltage available. JL specs indicate 45 x 4 @ 12.5 volts, 70 x 4 @ 14.4 volts (40A fused) Alpine says 40 x 4 @ 14.4 volts (25A fused) Basically, you'll get more bang and resale value for the JL over the Alpine.
