What's up guys? I will be removing an Alpine MRP-350 amp, RS804 bazooka tube & Alpine 9851 HU from my truck to install in a friends Explorer. Could someone please walk me through the steps of removing my Alpine 9851, MRP-350 & installing these products in my friends Explorer. Is there a special tool needed to remove HUs? Will I need to purchase any kits to convert from dodge to ford? Thanks for all input. Sorry for such basic requests.

After no replyies I decided to research, read and learn how to pull this installation off myself. Instillation went into my buddies Ford Explorer nicely this afternoon. Thanks for all the info and links found on this site. If you don't try you will never succeed.

That's how we all learn... just get in there, go slow and read a lot before you dive in head first.
Looks like our Resident Installers are all pretty busy of late. They are usually quick to reply and help out otherwise. I did not comment, as I don't have a lot of HU install experience to date. (just not my area of strengths yet)
System designs, integration and troubleshooting are more inline with my background. It's better to offer no advice, then to offer bad advice and/or incomplete info.
