I need your opinions. I'm originally from Norta Colda (ND, USA). The candidate this year for Miss America is this broad:

1. Is the blond in this picture really a MAN??
2. Is this blond a 'transformer'?

Her neck is covered by her collar....so I wasn't sure. Besides, as much 'pipe' as Swez has laid in the midwest, this might have been one of his jobs.

Well, I think these additional pictures should resolve the questions about Miss ND, 2006. (Kimberly Kreuger) The sir name suggests a German descent.
Admittedly, she does have some strong male features in her face and hands and a very wide mouth too. (Wonder if she can talk up a blizzard too?) But if you look at the photo gallery linked below, I'd have to say she's all female, with a few masculine features tossed in for good measure.

Pipe laying??? Hummm, not much of that of late, if you don't count electrical conduit, water line, duct work and gas line feeds. Have done a fair share of all of them the past few months or so. Not to mention hangin drywall, building a bay window from scratch and installing all new electrical switches, outlets, breaker box and service feeds.
The latest escapade, was a flooded basement. This poor guy had like 3" of standing water from his sewer line backing up. (mostly tree roots and TP) Had to break out the ol 5 gal shop vac and suck it all up in 5 gallon pails. Then, we had to tote it up a flight of stairs and pitch it into the yard.
Figured we did about 50 buckets x 5 gallons = 250 gallons x ~7 lbs/per gallon = 1,750 lbs of water. I guess you could say we bailed a ton of water that day huh? Oh where is my sump pump when I needed it most? Ohhhh, it's in my yard, froze solid in the ice. DANG!!!
Then, we snaked out about 75' to the main drain, 2 times. The 2nd trip out was not really needed, but this fellow just "had to do it again" ... Then, the snake feeder jammed in the drum and "kinked" the snake spring". (That's a $700.00 replacement job) I just walked away, shaking my head and muttering unflattering comments, under my breath.
Then he says... "Hey man, give me a hand, fixing this snake and getting it back in the drum". I just gave him "the look" and calmly said... "I did not creat this situation, I told ya not to run a 2nd pass and I'm not going to be a party for this SNAFU. You're on your own with this one pal !!!" MAD
Oh, be careful with that snake too.... it can whip and re-coil with so much energy, it can break an arm or leg. To his credit, 2 days later, he got it done. Ohhhh Schnitz, what's the next FUBAR he will make for himself??? Ahhhh, wadda ya expect? he's a lefty... GRIN
Heck, I should go to work for Habitat for Humanity. Maybe I could get the chance to meet "Jimmy Carter" and go out to his peanut farm for a mint tea or somethin.
So much for life in the big city this month...
