I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the trip function on the steering wheel of a 05 Altima to function with an aftermarket stereo. I am putting in a Panasonic stereo but want to keep the trip function on my steering wheel. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

intergrating steering wheel controls is a royal PITA. it is one of my least favorite things to do. one of the requirements is that your aftermarket deck must have a remote control, and then you'll have to buy an integration device. i'll check on model numbers.
i read something the other day that said you can't integrate the steering wheel controls on new nissans, can't veryify it though.
