hi.. i am trying to install an lcd with a dvd player and im having some trouble... the screen is a tft in dash screen with four wires out the back.. red yellow green black.. im getting the thign to power on but i cant get a signal from the dvd player..when i first connected the av out to my reciever, i was hearing sound.. and whenever i plugged the video into the screen, the sound would stop, and no video feed... i dont know what im doing wrong.. any suggestions

Do you have the manuals for the player and monitor? If not, give the make and model #'s of both devices and we'll see if we can hook you up with manuals and the proper wiring guides.
