I got a ma audio ma1200xl today and im wanting to know wehre to get a manual for it and the box it shuld be in and the right way to hook it up i hooked it up it seems to have a lot of xmass so i bought it for 125 tell me what u think

the sub i have is not listed in the list do u think i got a good deal on this sub swez? is this sub better then my pioneer one?
ma1200xl VS ts-w2000spl from pioneet i have both subs which is better

Having looked at both specs, I would say they are running a close race being the sensitivty, FS, xmax (+1.3mm more on the MA), and Qts is very close.
It would probably come down to which one has the most musicality or sounds best to you , for output shouldn't vary much. Plus, being SPL geared components, that factor may be a bit of odd use as well.
You could try running the specs of both through WIN ISD and see what minute differences in response and enclosure size will suit you best.

ok i found it lol it was right there in front of me i don't know why i like slot port boxes but i do i have a ? how do u get the SQ/IN in a port
the box so far i have thought will be :
Width= 16"
Height= 14.5"
Depth= 20"
Thickness of wood is .75 mdf
the port is where i need help it needs to be 25SQ/IN and 16" deep
the Height of the port will be 13" what i need to know is how to get the Width of the port to make it 25SQ/IN
