No personal experience, but any opportunity is better than none!

Get in shape you will, and no doubt, there's be modest lifting. THe main thing is how you'll make money. I'm assuming you are 100% commissioned based upon delivery? OR, 1099 independent contractor...if you must possess your truck, usually, that's the case.

Please give us more details regarding the job. I used to hang company witha guy that worked for Fedex Ground..but that was 4 years ago.

havent actually talked to the owner yet but the guy that gave me the details stated the route that is for sale made $72000 dollars last year before taxes and everything.. i think he said the guy made something like 42-46thousand last year... the guy is asking 20K for the route and with 5grand down he will finance the rest... said id be making around 1100-1200 a week before taxes and other payments like truck fee(750/month) gas, maintance, and ect... the route is growing at a huge rate right now...

If he stated that the route made $72, 000, make sure you see that in writing, such as tax return, W-4 etc. If it's a legitimate figure then he will show you. I would never take anyones word for it.I had a guy actually show me figures on a restaurant I was thinking of buying. Turned out he had 3 sets of "books". One for tax purposes, one for potential buyers, and one set that was actual.
Think long and hard on this and talk to as many people with info as you can. $20,000 is a good chunk o' change. Also what kind of rate is he talking with financing? You might do better with a loan from the SBA ( Small Business Administration) or possibly a government grant to start a business with. Either way good luck! Tego
