My friend was preety amazed at the JL's. Now hes getting a pair. But his pair is a newer version. His Is a 10W3v2..Mine is the 10W0...

Will this box work for either of them (he thinks the box is better for his) ?

the W0 and the W3 are DIFFERENT models!!! The W0 is a lower power handling model.

On the flipside, the box size requirements for each are similar. Go to www.jlaudio.com and compare the box requirements.

These boxes are a good fit for the 10W3v2 series. JL recommends 0.65 ft^3/sub, sealed. The R/T boxes are 0.71 ft^3/box. Once we subtract the woofer displacement (0.050 ft^3), we get 0.66 ft^3. Can't get much closer than that.

Dunno about yours Lil... if it sounds good to you, that's all that matters and yes, these boxes should be a good fit for your WO's too.

The sealed specs for the W0 series are 0.75 ft^3. Subtract the driver's displacement and you get an ideal target of 0.70 ft^3. That's well within range and yes, you can use about 12-16 ounces of poly fill to improve low end bass a tad.
