Match the total continuous (rms) power handling of both subs with a amp with at least half to closely around (+/-) the same rms power output. Don't get confused with peak ratings as they are only a short burst of power and are of no use in determining compatability. Make sure that the amp will handle the load in the way the subs will be wired to it.

If you give the exact model number of both subs and amp, they could be looked up. Then we will be able to give an exact answer on which to go with.

You might want to take a better look at the Kole product. Those amps may advertise and even list those high power ratings on the outside of the boxes, but if you look at the owner's manual, you'll see that they really put out about 1/2 of that power...and truthfully, may be WAAAAY overrated.

You might also want to consider a class D amplifier that will deliver that type of power, but use FAR less current.

The Kicker Comp VR you are talking about can handle plenty of juice. The main concern you should ALWAYS have is the design of the enclosure. What type of sound you are looking for, and what type of system you are attempting to integrate them into.

Tell us a little more about your system--head unit, other speakers, amplfiers, etc. Sounds like you have a decent woofer product in mind.
