When considering enclosures for your subs, suggest you run small sealed here so the extra power will not harm your subs. Figure 1.0 cf (internal air space) as max and 0.75 ft^3/sub as min. The larger the box, the more deep bass you can expect. However, power handling will drop. When going to compact sub designs, the subs will be tighter, more punchy sounding and deliver some low bass. Better power handling here in the small box, but low bass extension will be lost in the process. Swez lilschtive on 11/27/2005 18:45:17 look like awesome subs :P Ash on 11/29/2005 19:43:19 Those subs are good. I like the amp even better; rated @ 12.5 volts, unlike most @14.4 volts. You should get strong, steady output from that amp. Just be on the lookout for overexcursion (plopping/slapping noise from subs) in the larger recommended boxes for these with that amps output. It can potentially damage them. Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
