Alright guys... I am pretty new at this car audio thing, right now i have Xplod cones in my doors(now almost blown out) and Xplod 6x9's under my back window. these are complimented with a Infinity 10inch powered with an old Fosgate PUNCH series amp...

I'm looking to upgrade for X-mas and saw a sweet deal on ebay, two Audiobahn 10", Box w/plexE glass AND blue neon, 1200watt sound storm amp, wiring kit, and tweets for only $$200$$

This seems to good to be true! Is it?
I'm not looking for mind blowing base, just a good thump
-Thanx

What you have to look at is exactly what your getting. The subs and amp might be an "okay" deal but, do the woofers really match the box. The Bahn tens, I'm willing to bet are the same ones everyone has on sale. The natural sound "T" series are like roaches, everyone has them and are trying to get rid of them. Sound Storm is a mediocre brand so I'm willing to say the wattage is probably only peak. It still might be okay for the subs though. As for the tweeters; if they are not matched with a viable mid, what good are they. Are they the usual give-away $20 piezo's?

I'd rather see you spend $200 bucks and be "half way home" on the right setup than $200 on junk that you will end up scrapping half of. If you really want some help, come up with a budget and the parts you really need and I'm sure there will be plenty of help to find you some very decent equipment.

Alright Ash... I might go with your advice, I want my system to be unique to what i want, not something anybody with spare change can get, I'll try and save for a proper system... THANX
