i just put (2)6.5,(2)6*9, and (2) 10's in a sealed box (all JL's), a pioneer 9600, coustic 650 amp (6ch but im only using 4) and an eclipse 33230 in a 03 cavalier
i had the same amps with crappy speakers in an 87 ranger with just one crappy 10 and it hit alot harder and was alot louder why is that?

my real question is i have the 2 jl 10s in a sealed box hooked up at 2ohms mono (wired in parallel) from the factory. i am running it with the eclips 33230 amp. there is a switch for: mono(L)...stereo....L+R whats the diff.? and the output power list is: 2ohms=200wx2ch... 4ohms=130wx2ch... 4ohms (bridged)=400wx1ch i thought when you bridged it it was 2 ohms not 4. anyways how should i wire this? should i rewire the speakers

from the amp pwr description you gave, that amp is 2 ohm stable in stereo, but not in mono. Running at 2 ohms mono will make that amp run really hot, and could REALLY shorten the life of it...... If you had dual voice coiles you could wire them at 4 ohms mono, but you would be better going to 4 ohms stereo.

Ttocs is on to the key point. Those JL subs mentioned, which model # are they?

This amp will run 2 & 4 ohm loads fine in stereo mode. However, in MONO bridged mode, you'll need a 4 ohm load here. The coil options on your present subs, will dictate how to wire them to that Eclipse amp. It is not 2 ohm stable in MONO bridged mode.

If you are able to run amp in MONO, use the L + R mode. That sums bass from L & R channels to form a combined MONO signal.
