was diggin around in the "junk pyle" and found this old amp i had for a while...i actually forgot about it..its a pyle wave pla100...i looked up the specs since i never really used it and it shows to be 2 ohm stable in stereo...35x2 rms....but it says 240 watts total...anyway is it really possible to squeeze that power out of this heap...i mean the thing only sports a 5 amp fuse ....heres a link to the specs...chek it out and post some info....most likely its worthless but you or should i say..i never know.... http://www.homestead.com/prosites-allmanmusic/files/PyleWaveAmp.htm Replies (3) asplundher on 11/8/2005 18:27:10 With a 5 amp fuse, that should tell you everything. The 35 watts are probably at the most with the gain turned sky high, being fed 4 volts, and a flux capacitor as the power source. LOL! Really though, junk it. It probably won't amp anything but noise and distortion. I know, cause a long, long, time ago when money was very tight, and I didn't know any better, I ran a similar 4 channel amp. Same wattage ratings, non bridgable, IC powered, blah, blah. It could barely even thump a good coaxial. Even my Pioneer 4600 HU (if I had it back then) would put it to shame.
