These are all i have for now, I am sure there will be many more brands which have good products at cheaper prices but have gone unnoticed or have not yet found a right channel into the market.

If any of u can add some links related to this topic then this can be a very useful FAQ post.IDEA

Hope this helps ... COFFEE

I read the long one on soundeadenershowdown.com. Very informative, insightful and well written piece.

This guy tested a bunch of products from the main players in deadeners to date. The jist of things, pay more for the butyl rubber products as they do stand up to the long haul in a major install.

The ashphalt products are somewhat cheaper, but when it comes to standing up to extreme heat, the adhesives fail. (sags, bubbles and even known to fall off) Not the best choice for vertical and inverted install locations.

If you are going to invest the time and effort to do a major dampening project, use the good stuff on vertical and inverted surfaces. (Butyle rubber compounds). For the floor and trunk bed, can go cheaper and use ashphalt product with good results.
