Nothing wrong with Classical music bud! That's what spawned where we are today in audio. I cut my teeth on it too. It's all good in perspective.

Yeah, I started pretty young too. As a musician and fellow music lover, it started in Jr. High. Not much affordable gear back then for a little shaver. (Circa 1968) But as I got older and started to earn spare change as a teenager, that's when the hook was firmly set.

Over the years, I have built up a few decent things in gear. Much of what I own now are mostly Pro sound amps (Peavy CS-800 for subs) and a Yamaha P-2050 2 channel for my Polk Monitor 7a's and a Crown IC 150 preamp. Am using a generic 12 x 2 band EQ for now.

Pending, are a better rear channel set of speakers and a decent Parametric EQ. The Peavy amp is just too big for everyday use. (that sucker weighs 85 lbs alone and only does 800 Wrms @ 4 ohms when bridged. Can do fine with a much more compact amp and perhaps a single 15" sub.

The saga continues...
