how much of a differance does higher pre-out volts make? i odered a premier pioneer deck and and they got a normal pioneer deck and the only differance that i saw was the pre-out volts being 4V instead or 6.5V. should i make them get me the right one or doesnt it really matter? (i have good sized amps but all of my speaker are rated higher than the amps already will i get more power out of the 6.5 vs. the 4)? thanks for the help Replies (3) ralter649 on 10/27/2005 03:38:11 one more thing...one of my amps input sensitivity adjustment goes from 200mV - 4V....can i run a 6.5V pre-out into that or do i have to run the 4V ttocs on 10/27/2005 04:40:26 You will probably not be able to notice the difference, 4v is more then good enough. swez on 10/27/2005 09:28:01 The HU will only produce the rated RCA voltage above ~75% of max volume. The voltage will be less from the RCA's, below that setting on your HU. Set both amps at 4.0 volts initially and follow the set up guide noted below. Start with tweaking the full range amp to get a clean, clear signal to your speakers. Once you get the mid/highs where you like them, add the sub and blend them to your satisfaction. http://www.clubknowledge.com/Car_Audio_FAQ/?t3 Swez Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
