well i got these memphis powerbase 12s layin around ...got them in a trade but never really checked em out....anyone know about these ....are they worth running...if i did run them i would just throw them in the box i already have....its 5cubes tuned at 25hz......i just was wonderin their potential

They are decent subs,well worth using,of course dependinbg on what you have now. The PB series are basically Memphis entry level, but w/ Memphis, their entry level subs are like many companies mid level subs. They are definately worht running in a everyday driver.

I would not run these subs in a box that big tuned that low unless you only give them around 200 watts. There is absolutely no resistance on the backside of the sub in this box, therefore even running right at or barely over RMS will rip these subs apart.

yea swez schooled me on these earlier...the rec. air space for these subs are pretty dang close to what i have...so i think that they will be safe....but yea low wattage will be employed
