sub and amp setup

i have a pioneer 2000 watt sub duel voice and a planet audio 1250 watt amp mono block i want to run it at 1 ohm i think i have it hooked up right but im not shure can u tell me i have he 2 + hooked up and the 2 - hooked up is this right

more details on the sub and amp needed.

is it a 2 ohm DVC sub, or a 4 ohm DVC sub..?? is the amp 1 ohm stable??

what is the RMS value of the sub and the amp??? are they in safe region to run together??

Your qeustion is incomplete in terms of sharing useful info for better help..

Please give more details for a useful reply.. Most of us here do not work on incomplete info, inorder to avoid confusions.

sorry about that i was at school and was in a hurry ok the amp is 1 ohm stable i know that it is the 2 ohm one this one

and the amp is not on the site its an older one i think like 2002 modle or something like that when i got the sub the wiers where real small like 16 gage and they was spliced with tape the + was split going to the 2 +'s and the same for the - and i did not like the way it looked so i took and when to thet + and ran a jumper to the other + and the same for the - is that the right thing to do or not thanks a lot
