Wiring Pioneer AVIC N2 to play DVD's while Driving.

Just looking for information on how to bypass system configuration. I take long trips with the wife and she would like to watch a DVD while we go places. It is angled so the driver can't see the screen. I have voice command added so I really do not need to see it.

up until about a month ago, it was thought to be impossible to bypass it. somebody figured it out about a month ago.

nobody really supports bypassing parking brake wires on this forum, so e-mail me and i'll tell you how to do it. not that that's a bad thing!!

my e-mail address is NHenson1@hotmail.com

I heard pioneer reps were faxing instructions with the the hope to increase sales?

You can buy the jumpers at an electronics store to keep from having to solder.

absolutely. i have been to three shops here in louisville that have all mentioned pioneer reps faxing them bypass instructions because nobody was buying the avic-n2, and i mean NOBODY. we sold maybe 2 or 3 at my work last year, and once we figured out the bypass about a month ago, we have sold like 4.
