BASICALLY, I'm taking the shortest route possible, with as little stopping as I have to. I'll really enjoy the Rocky Mountains, but don't know if anything in IOWA (Idiots Out Wandering Around) or Nebraska will be worth stopping for other than gasoline.
At any rate, Swez, Victor, TTOCS and the crew, if you don't hear from me for a month, or 2, don't fret. I'm around, just getting settled.
Swez, keep the batphone number just in case comissioner Gordon needs my help. If anyone asks, I'll be at Wonderwoman's place, and being tied up involves her lasoo and invisible jet.

Righty O ol boy. Will keep the Batline open and monitored. Give me a shout en-route if you wish. Put a Franklin on the table with my name on it and play it for all it's worth. You can keep all the winnings. Just return the lucky Franklin when finished OK? hehe
"Happy trails to you .... until we meet again" Be sure to catch a few nights of Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell, Steve Norry or Ian Punnit. They have some great (wierd) stories and guests, if you like to drive late at night.

The Roach ARRIVED!!!!
I made it to San Diego Tues Sept 6th @ 5pm local time. Surprisingly, there was no traffic snarls. After 1 long day and another even longer, I took 2 days in Vegas just to get my time clock back into wack. At any rate,
Weather here is 75F every day, 9-10 months a year. Sometimes 80, sometimes 70, but usually 75. Wind is gentle, sometimes mildly breezy, but rarely still. Women are scantily clad, sometimes Latina, sometimes La Jolla cosmetically enhanced, but usually attractive.
I have a few days before I can start my new gig (due to a mandatory background check) so i'll have a little time to kill. By time to kill, I mean time and not people. Very important distinction as I hear all the serial killers from around here are actually midwestern born. But aren't they all?
I am a lousy tourist, as I didn't pick up any trinkets nor did I take a lot of pictures. I did take about 5 or 6 photos in Utah at an interesting rock formation, plus some local pictures of the palm trees, etc. in front of my place.
Right now, I'm staying with a friend who borders alongs the line of a saint. Anyone that can put up with me for an extended length of time is either a paid mental healthcare provider or a card dealer. Interesting features of this place.
Gas is on par or CHEAPER than Minnesota.
Groceries are CHEAPER than Minnesota.
Woman are CHEA...wait, thinner.
Houses are smaller, hence the women being smaller
Not as many 'strip' malls as everything is 'neighborhood'
There's more taco stands than McD's, BK, Wendy's combined!!!
Latina women are more desperate than I originally thought
Swez, I think you need to consider the last point of interest very seriously. If English is your first language, you're more in demand than you think.

about 4 miles from the beach. No couch, just floor. Sharing a small 2 bed place that is actually the same as my apartment without the bedroom!!!!
