Hey guys. I have a Panasonic CQ-C5401 and I'm trying to find the best settings for rock/punk music... Do any of you have this deck and played around with the SQ settings? I'm interested to hear what settings provide the best sound for different setups. Thanks.

they will vary from car to car as there are too many variables, including your own tasts. Normally try to stay away from loudness or bass boost features as they can hurt speakers...

What EQ setting features does this HU have? I see a 3 band EQ and perhaps several pre-set EQ programs as well. For Rock, a slight bump in 40-100 Hz range should help bring up the bass. As for presets, try "Jazz" if you have it. Just realize the HU has good features, but the speakers (w/o amps) will give limited results. What kind of speakers are used in this ride and where are they located?
