A lot of cars have a knock out or a boot cap for the clutch cable when using a stick shift. If you have an A/T, there should be a space just left of the brake peddle that usually works out fine. Just make sure you use rubber gromets to protect your wire as it feed through your firewall holes.

You will probably have to go inverted, under the sterring wheel assy to find it. A good light will help and may have to move the carpet to locate the access hole. Good luck!

i told him not to do it this way but he is running it between the fender and the door jam into the car for the time being... i told him i wasnt gonna be responsable for it cuz i would rather not run the cable. he will find out when he get a short or his equipment gets messed.... i dunno if he planned on changing it later or not but i did the rest of the install... it was a set of jl w0 12s and a kenwood 702 or sumtin, 800 watt max amp... really matched those subs nice, they call for 125 rms it puts out 150 @4 so had a lil extra power to help out.... very impressed with the sq and the spl from these sub. .

PLEASE tell me you/he has a fuse on that wire.....................

If not then make sure to tell him to install one, or a fire extinguisher.

yea it has a fuse, everything else is properly installed except the power cable being ran through the door jam.... i looked for a hole as swez mentioned but didnt see one, maybe i wasnt looking high enough... but if you are looking under the hood and not under the dash you can not see anything, so many things to block the view....
