the 6x9 project has begun....but instead of the pioneers...i found some blaupunkt transparent series for 20 bucks a pair at a liquidation sale....so i scored 4 for right now...i figured id start with these cause they cost less and they would be ok just to test the water.....i have two installed right now running about 60 watts to each....they sound pretty good ..nice response even though they are 50hz -20,000..90db at 1w...the highs are very distinct.....the bass response is decent too...i figure 8 of them should really rock the block...or at least my driveway.....my cousin is working on a fiberglass panel ...the speakers will be recessed into the panel set at a stadium seat type position....with a slight forward angle....i will be sealing off the area behind the back seat as well as the deck to avoid cancellation....i will keep updating as we go to inform you of the sq and spl...and hopefully will have pics soon....

Those TSeries are good speakers.. nice MB response.. never expected them to sell at such low prices.. you got a good deal there..
These were designed to be used with backlight illumination.. I have seen an install with back light and it looks really kool and decent too.. U can ask your cousin to integrate some lights into that enclosure ..
