Look guys, we gotta get off this rude and impatients type "snipping" at each other. Have been on this board over 5 years now and never saw this kind of activity between our regulars. Yes, we have a new cast of characters (of all kinds) coming to the board of late. OK, that's why we are here... to help them out. But taking "pot shots" at folks is not what CK has ever been about. CK would be just like many of the other boards out there in time, if allowed to continue on this path. Personally, I will not sit back and watch that happen. Nor should any other Gold/Admin.
Hey, we all have rough days and can get short with anything/anyone that does not line up with our reality or expectations. (I get them too) But that is a personal issue. When we get out of line on a given matter, others will usually let us know it. (That's a good thing) Especially when done in a mature and respectful manner. I am glad others here, are willing to watch my backside. In turn, I watch theirs too. That's what good team players and coaches/mentors do.
In short, I am personally asking that all this "snipping and nit-picking" stops right here and now. We are professionals, adults and like minded audio buffs. Each person brings a unique set of ideas and opinions to the board. It's usually for the betterment of the site too. But this recent rash of bashing each other has got to stop.
Are we in agreement on this issue? I sure hope so. Don't want to see CK wind up (degrade) like most other boards out there. This is not a gun slinger, macho-man site. We need to put our egos aside and work as a team. If that does not fly, neither will this site much longer.
