Hello guys. I have this factory head unit (cassette/radio) with a slave cd changer. I want to install a 10 disc changer in the truck, with the option to add amp and so forth later when funds allow. I have a gm aux adapter that I had in a '02 silverado. does anyone have any suggestions on what I might have to do to add more to my system at a later time ? would I be ahead of it to sell everything and go aftermarket ? Thanks in advance, Billy

If you kept your factory radio you would have to buy a line out converter that has 4 wires and a set of rca cables coming out of it. The 4 wires connect to one set of your speakers (left and right). Then you plug your rca cables to your amp and the converter. This way doesnt give you the best sound quality. Also some amp companys have the line out converter right into the amp so you dont have to buy a seperate one and you wouldnt have to use any rca cables. But again not the best sound quality.

Or you can just buy an aftermarket cd player.
