Ok i recently bought a lexus IS 300. I have a couple questions as far as the audio goes. 1) How good is the favctory speakers in that car. 2) would any aftermarket speakers be an upgrade ( i have some polks that i took out of my civic that are only like a year old i don't know the exact model numbers off the top of my head but i think they cost like 80 - 100 for a pair if that helps any). 3) I don't want to take out the factory radio and a guy at circuit city said you could hook up an amp and sub with some sort of conversion kit does anybody know anything about that and if so would it be worth it? And if anybody can tell me how to get the interior door panels off so i could put my speakers in if they are in fact better it would be appreciated.Any feedback would be appreciated. thankyou

In most cases, even the premium sound factory speakers are not as good as after market speakers. There is a conversion kit so you can connect amps and such to the factory unit. IMHO I think it would be worth the $100 or so to get the after market equipment installed.
