Plexeglass

i want to make a solid plexeglass box but if i make it how do i hold it together do i pre drill holes and screw it like any wood box or what please let me know i want to make it for my dodge 1500 excab for 2 kicker l7 12's it any one could can i get me the plans how where to put the ports and stuff for this box thanks a lot still learning a lot from you pep

no offense to u or nething... so dont take this personally but b4 i posted to you, there was a thread rite below this one like 4 or 5 threads down... just a hint when having a ?... look for the answer first, then ask if u cant find it.... but if u still cant find it heres a shortcut to it

From what I saw in the pic noted in PQ's other reply, I see no screws used other than maybe the subs and termination cup. Hard to say for sure as there really was not enough close ups on that phase of the install.

From what I gather, this is pretty much the same idea as building a plexiglass fish tank. It's all about adhesives that bond via chemical etching/welding, not glue strength alone.

I suggest doing a whole bunch of reading, research and planning before attempting this type of enclosure.

but if you still are having some doubts... dont forget that you can always practice... you dont just have to read and then go ahead and start... make sure u know wut you are doing for the most part....just use a few small scrap pieces so u can determine exactly wut will happen....we all started somewhere, and to be honest im still learning.... a little practice never hurt neone
