Those are some real winners dude. Some very creative... others are downright dumb.

I did like the trash can 18" sub design though. It would probably work pretty well if the guy used fiberglass to make the can rigid and not flex with bass... assuming the right cf of air space was used. Not a bad test jig for a pre-install....LOL

That was pretty funny! It's unbelievable what people do! Makes me feel like a real pro installer after seeing that. The waste of the Vega Stroker almost made me sick though.

WOW!

Thank you for your colorful resume. I am in desperate need of a lead installer, and you look like my kind of guy. Is $22 / Hr enough for a man of your expertise?

The sad part is that I have seen all of this and more. Even sadder is that 2 audiobahn 12's didn't sound that bad in 5 gallon buckets in the back of an S-10. The only difference is that the ones I saw had a 4" plastic port liquid nailed into the side of the bucket.

notice the subtle use of white caulk.

That MTX shot is priceless! What does it take to invent such genius level designs? I want to sign up for that class. GRIN

I understand that while you are installing your system, it may look like a rat's nest taken over by jungle animals. However, when complete, it should be clean.

In these cases, they were COMPLETE!!! I know that when I got started in 1988, ghetto installs were common, but at least I heard of wire ties, mounting locations, and above all, MY FRIENDS ARE GOING TO LOOK AT THIS AND LAUGH!!!!

Unbelievable.
