Have a chat with this guy. He seems to be looking for what you have to sell.

PS This seems to be similar to a Stiffening Cap used in some high power sub amp systems to help voltage sags. I cannot find too much detail on it off Google. If you have a manual for it, look for Tech service contact numbers so you can find out what it does and specs.

E-bay might be your best place to sell it or a friend who has large sub amps with some light dimming issues.

He's not my Mayor. Kilpatric is an absolute bufoon. He steps out of one pile of dog poop to the next. Kinda funny following that saga too. Rumor has it that his family is very well connected to the political machine in Detroit proper. But, for some reason, this guy thinks he can spend city money on any pet project... and it's OK.

Looks like he lost the new Navigator. It was the 2nd one on his watch. He also has a bill for $8,000 in unrelated expenses to pay back. He wrote that check on Tuesday. The question remains, there is still at least $11,000 more worth of unexplained expenses charged to the city's credit cards to be reviewed. Wonder how that will turn out.

Considering Detroit has a budget deficit of > $250K this year already, he still wants to live high on the hog at taxpayers expense. Think he'll finish this term and get the boot.

Finally, I do not live in Detroit proper. More like 25 miles due west... just past Dearborn, MI. (Garden City) Far west Wayne County. You up near Algonac, New Baltimore, Chesterfield Township area?

yeah i'm in algonac, that mayor and his family is crazy, did you hear her talking the other night?? that city is so far srewed up, with 7 million in unpayed back taxs, and the mayor paying his wife 100,000 and some dollars to run a auctions and his 8 buds from school that are his body guards were ever he goes they go. he alone is going to help fun the city even farly into the ground, when the superbowl comes all that money that was going to be spend on the city in most likely going into Kilpatric pocket, i go to the D about once ever other weekend and they are NO were realy for any superbowl. its going to be a HUGE LET DOWN!! everone is going to be saying stuff about det. its soo sad that the people don't care, and they blame it on the people that live around the det. and the media for everything that has happen.

Pretty sad huh? Lots of "BIG IDEAS" being circulated about how to re-vitalize things in Detroit.... but with all the issues outstanding and pending problems in the foreground, hard to predict the outcome of any of this stuff. My guess, they might pull off a good show if enough bright minds get together on this project. If not, Detroit will remain a dark mark in the minds of many outsiders and insiders alike.

In my humble opinion, keep Kwammi out of the lime light, let his team work out the details and forget re-election campaign efforts. He's not going to get a 2nd chance after all the blunders he has made. (I hope)

Unfortunately, his personal staff seems to think the same way KK does.... grab, plunder and hide the details as best is possible. When they come to the top, blame others, deny the accusations and formulate a plan to stay out of jail. KK says: "I didn't know much about the details and am now looking into the matter and how to resolve it". It's almost laughable as it is so predictable. Here are the steps most politicians employ:

1. Deny the accusations
2. "I'm looking into the matter"
3. "Seems there are some irregularities to sort out, we'll get back to you"
4. Destroy any incriminating evidence
5. Sanitize the scenario for the media
6. "We have reviewed the details, see some things that need further review.... will get back to you"
7. "Yes, there are some questionable things done by our staff w/o my knowledge. Will be taking corrective actions shortly."
8. "Well, I don't think anything done was inappropriate, but just to insure public perceptions are positive, I will give back some stuff so I can keep the rest" (80/20 rule seems to apply) I'll admit to 20% of the allegations and make restitution. However, the 80% remaining, I will hang on to for now.

Bill and Hillary were masters at this game. KK is purely a Bush Leaguer... (un-ranked amature) by comparison)

Frankly, I am not a political pundant. KK has dug a deep hole for himself and the city in general. My only hope is he gets close enough to inspect the hole and slips into same. Hopefully, others on the scene have the presents of mind to fill the hole as fast as possible... before KK can climb out.

Personally, I would never run for political office. Too many daggers out there to stab you in the back if you don't live up to others agendas.

Nuff said,
Swez

PS Go Piston.... make it to the top and bring Detroit some positive press.
