That's right. Old MeatLoaf (Mr B) is going back into the valley of darkness, Lost Wages Nevada.

After winning a minor tournament here in the area, I've booked a trip back to 110 degree temperatures. In any case, I'll be in Las Vegas May 29-June5 and at Imperial Palace.

There, they have a NLH poker tournament with no admin fee. Basically, it's call their Centennial tournament to commemorate the 100yr anniversary of Hookers, a good meal, and a fair game. Check it out here:

After having a widely successful 3 months of poker, I'm taking one more shot @ Vegas. This time, the last 3 days of my trip coincide with the first 2 events of of the World Series of Poker. I just need to make the money @ IP and I'm doing that.

Wish me luck, because I have a deficit in skill.

I won't be bringing any friends. it's Hans Solo. I was trying to coerce this woman from AZ, but she starts a new job that week. At any rate, I'll be just lounging at the IP

I am retooling my trip. I have a job interview in San Diego the 2nd of June. I'm cutting short all of my Vegas stay. I am also cancelling my tournament entry, and just playing a bunch of smaller events as I won't have time to dedicate myself to it if I actually win.

In any case, I will be in Vegas May 29, 30, 31, June 1....then I'll take a pondskipper to Diego for the interview, and spend the rest of my time there.

Dangit!! Just when I was going to have some fun consummating my 3 month poker heater, WORK gets in the way. I'm a shoe-in for the job, they just invited me, as a courtesy, to view the company and setup to determine if I feel comfortable fitting in there. The only way I don't take the job is if it's a sweatshop with nothing but college grads..

However, at the commission rates they are offering, I can't turn it down. I can always quit, and take a better job later if it isn't everything that I've envisioned.
