Hey bud... check out the the new "Bling" that will be shortly added to your login name.

Have nominated you for Gold member status and it has been approved by site owner. May take a few days before it shows up on your posts.... but you have done a fine job helping others and I feel you deserve the upgrade.

Keep up the good work! CLAP

Here here!
I come here often with questions or just to browse and I've thought of lessismore's advice to be gold worthy for a while now.

Well deserved! CLAP

I'm gonna need to be promoted with an Aluminum Foil Medal next to my name......hehe.....it'll be a while before i know enough to get one of those, much less a Gold.

Good Job lessismorespl......you help out a lot.

Danny,

That is funny... but you are learning fast too. Just keep at it, read and digest the details and help others when you can.... that'll get ya a Gold some day.

For now, how about we give you an honorary Copper ring for the good effort? Higher than a noob, a bit less than a Gold, but a good acknowledgement anyway?

Swez

Thank you for all the kind words. I'm not on here as much as I should be, but I will try to be on a fews hours a weeks. I do my best in trying to help others, I feel shot down now & then, but that is the breaks.

I am trying to work on a "Big 3" upgrade article, but my writing skills are not the best, it is so much easier for me to just show some-one how to do it.

I appreciate the upgrade and consider it an honor. I really like this site, it is well maintained, and most members seem to be respectful of other's opinions. I hope I can maintain my goal to help people w/out bias of equipment quality and technology, and most of all assist in keeping people from being ripped off by online scams, and underhanded dealings by car audio sites.

Thank you again.

Less,

Welcome to the new club status. I see the medallion has been added and now, it's official! CLAP

About "feeling shot down"... we can rest assured that some will take issue (pot shots) with strong opinons toward those in leadership roles in any organization. It's just a fact of life, we all have to contend with this.

Leadership roles are difficult for this and many other reasons. Leaders are held to a higher standard and unfortunately, we are just as human as any other. The more "out there" we are in our views and communication styles, the more we tend to attract feedback. (Positive or negative) Seems best to address the issues and do the best we can to build bridges. If that seems impossible... sometimes it is, just move on and help those who respect and value the advice.

Again, welcome to the Gold status and good luck with your "Big 3" offerings,

Swez

PS We all have a bad day here and there. Point them out privately when possible. (personal emails or club mail) But when it comes to persoanl attacks, others do jump in fast to right a wrong. That's one great thing about this site.

We (the core group) generally stand together against troublemakers. When I have been having a few off days, other team members will correct (rebuke) me too. It's because they care! I take that correction to heart, as others are trying to watch my blind spots. (which there are many) As many know, Ol' Swez is "very human". SMILE
