What is the best box for 2 12" subs that produces the best bass?

Depends on what subs they are and what your tastes are.

Exactly, are you seeking SPL, SQ, or a combo of both? Also, all subs are different in their own way on how well they perform in different enclosures. Some subs are better suited in sealed, others perform much better in vented/ported enclosures.

Ditto... what subs do you have now? Make and model # of subs and amp would be most helpful.

also take into consideration what amp you are using along with what subs, speakers in a sealed enclosure are able to take more power than one in a vented/ported enclosure. so, in short, you dont want to put subs in a ported enlcosure, with too much power and over excur them.
