What would be the best way to run 4 150W 6.5" interior speakers off of a 2 Channel amp. 2 off of each channel?

I believe all the speakers are 4ohm

A Pretty potent amp here Rob. Looks like 230 Wrms @ 2 ohms. So, that 115 Wrms per speaker. What speakers are you planning to run off this amp? They better be pretty stout speakers for the power this amp indicates.

Also, if you do run front and rears with this amp, will not have active fade controls from front to rear. Can use passive attenuators to knock down the rear speakers as needed. Most likely, the rear speakers will deliver +6-8dB more SPL then what you'll get up front.

I have a 2 pairs of Pioneer 6.5"s that I plan to use. They both say 150 Watts. Will too much power be a problem? Cant i just turn the gain down or something?

i would rather than have too much then too little. If you wire them at 2 ohms the amp will run hotter and the speakers will be louder. However it may be loud enough to run the speakers in series giving you an 8 ohm load. I am sure I would try both ways and see what i liked better. Its up to you which you like better but all the equipment should be fine running either way.

Can you explain how to wire it at 2 ohms for me.

You have the amp + - + -

and then the 4 sets of speakers + -

Do i just hook up one set of speakers to each of the amp sets??

(sorry, im a rookie)

What is written on the Speaker specs...???

is its specified 150W RMS..?? or is it 150Watts Max or MaxPower 150watts, or Music Power 150watts, or Peak Power 150 watts..??

Cause i have not seen a pioneer 6.5" with 150W RMS rating as yet in these 5 years of Car Audio dealing..

Please check properly, cause is its not 150W RMS then the power you wish to give those speakers will be too much,

You may have to connect the front and the rears, in series to safeguard your speakers, or a simple 4 channel 50wRMS amp wud be a much better option here..

Do you have the model number on the Pioneer 6.5" speakers you got..???

Please re-check the specs on the internet..

I went through the full Pioneer Catalogue, Price lists & Web-site but could not find a single 6.5" speaker that is rated at 150WRMS,
