I really gotta thank this site for helping me out with car audio. I worked at sears for about a year, and now thanks to a lot questions being answered I start my new job at Tweeter on Monday. I still have a long way to go and their month of training. But car audio is where I'm at and want to stay throughout school.

Congratulations on your new job with Tweeter! You'll learn a lot about installs, retail marketing and shop politics.
If you can, figure out who the top guys are in your department and see if they are willing/able to mentor you into a successful transition. Stick to these guys like a "new suit" after you build some personable rapport with each.
The idea... get on the highest learning curve you can handle and be willing to learn from the best of the team. They may resist showing you the ropes initially... but try bringing fresh donuts, bagels or spring for a pizza party to loosen up the "He's the new guy" syndrome you may encounter... but give it a few weeks before you do that.
You'd be amazed how these steps can break the ice.
Good luck and be a "sponge" and soak up as much as you can!
