Hello. Okay... I'm torn between the Pioneer GM-6000F and the Alpine MRP-F240.. It will be powering a set of Alpine SPS-170a's and a set of Alpine SPS-690a's.. Which would you recommend?

Alpine or Kenwood Excelon are very good choices. If you shop e-bay, some great deals on same. I believe BB has the F240 on sale for $119.99 + tax. You can buy that same amp off e-bay for under $80.00 + S/H.

Only reason for the Pioneer is that I can get it for 100 canadian.. and the Alpine would be triple that brand new (I live in Canada). What do you think?

Pioneer amps are not very sophisticated with control features and efficient power supplies. That's why they are so cheap. Will they work? Yes, but the others mentioned have newer technology circuits and have better control panel features.

Have you looked on e-bay? Can buy new or used gear there well below retail prices and many power sellers do ship to Canada.

These are all good products and priced to move. Each will ship to CN as well.
