anybody recommend me a good head unit for 150 bucks or so, just want something very simple, was going to put my system in the old ladies car this weekend but her panosonic cd player quit working, radio works fine, but when a cd is place in the the slot the screen blinks about every 2 seconds then shoots the cd out and reads E1... its prolly needs to be cleaned or sumting. i guess i could try to fix it first.. if i cant fix it tho im looking for something with only 1 or 2 preouts, easy setup, very user friendly... an come to mind in that price range???

There are a lot to choose from that fit that criteria. check out some of the mid line pioneer, kenwood, and alpine stuff. heres a pioneer with everyhing you are looking for for 105 on ebay..

thank you buick, i actaully just went to walmart and bought almost the same unit. just not the premier, i bought the deh-4700 really not sure what the difference is between normal and premier, but it just do just fine for a set of sub and enough power to run the speakers.... also i tried hooking a cd player up through an old working power supply from a computer that i used to have. it wouldnt work, any ideas why not, i had the pos, switched, and ground hooked up, just wanted to try and use it to test units before installing them.... it said +12v at 10 amps, thats what the cd player needs right? its ok if this idea dont work but i thoguth it would. thanx guys/
