What I'm trying to say is that I have eight wires, four are yellow, two are green, two are white. For example, of the two white(this is one channel) one is neg and one is pos. Is there any way besides taking out the speakers and checking? ie, at the plug? How do I simply reply on this board? (Thank you) Replies (3) admin on 07/9/2003 23:44:45 billbranch.. It seems it is the fault of the webmaster for your inability to reply; I think what is happening is this: Your on aol and for your so called 'protection' they proxy your connections to websites. Which means that your IP address changes each time you click on a pages links. We use the IP address to identify you so what happens is our script thinks you are a unique user rather then billbranch.. Are you having to login each post? I will look into a way around this issue.. admin on 07/10/2003 21:55:30 I want to thank you very much for the very generous donation Mr. Branch.. It will help quite a bit! HAPPY Swez on 07/11/2003 04:15:20 This sounds like a you need a 9 volt battery and some wires to probe the speaker harness with. Each wire set is coded with a pos and neg and are connected to 1 of 4 speakers in your system. By touching the battery to your wires sets, you will hear clicks and pops from the speaker attached to that wire set. If you can view the the speaker, (or have a helper on hand) watch the direction of the cone travel. If the cone move out, the + on battery is connected to the + on the speaker. This procedure will help you to identify and ID each wire set and corresponding speaker it is connected to. Hope that helps, Swez PS Welcome to CK forum Bill Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
