hi i'm roberto and i have a problem setting up my amp and i have a very low budget. this is what i got: - JVC KD-AR400 receiver , 50x4 ,2 rca outputs. - FRONT SPEAKERS: SONY XS-V1330a 180w. - REAR SPEAKERS: KENWOOD KFC 6979ie 240w - AMP BOSS RT-945 5 channel amp - KENWOOD 12" SUBWOOFER the problem that i have is that i don't know how to individualize the sub because my receiver only has 2 rca and not the sub one, right now i have the sub wired with my rear speakers. what i need is one channel for every speaker that's why i bought this amplifier. thanks for your quick reply. roberto. Since you only have 2 outputs from the HU, it will be fine. The sub output is nice so you can control the sub from the HU, but if you have the remote that comes w/ that amp, you can use that. There should be no problem hooking up the front & rear RCA's to the inputs on the amp and running the subs fromt he sub channel. Check to see if the amp has a setting for running it in different modes, most do(* 3, 4, 5 channel operation.). I have owned several 3 and 5 channels amps and have never seen one that did not have a constant output on the sub channel. Another note, most have seperate gain controls for each channel, so you will have to set ea one. ttocs on 04/17/2005 13:07:52 check the switches on the side. Often there is one to select what input you want to use for the sub. Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
