Have you tried moitoring the soundcar output with a pair of headphones? If you have output to headphones here, then you have audio out to feed into your Denon receiver. If NO sound in headphones, something is wrong with card or software that drives it. Try reinstalling the software that pertains to that card. It may be corrupt or just not a default card now. Got to have audio output signal to feed your Denon. Swez compvr15s on 04/15/2005 21:12:34 my pc has built in 5.1 stereo jack on the back which are the small pins, but it also has the coaxial plug in(digital audio in/out), the size of rca cable. the thing used to work before but i dont know whats differnt from then till now... i think i might try a digital coaxial to digital optical converter and just run of a toslink... i tried runnin my dvd player with has both coaxial and optical auido, when hooked through the optical cable works, when i use the coaxial it dont work.... i have made sure i have the appropiate mode setup for coaxial, i have it running as the cdr slot on my reciever so whatever i have hooke through the coaxial i have to have the reviever on cdr but still dont work.... i noticed that when things are hooked to it, it stays on analog.but coaxial is a digital input so it shouldnt say that, should switch to digital... thanx for the help so far guys. compvr15s on 04/15/2005 21:12:35 my pc has built in 5.1 stereo jack on the back which are the small pins, but it also has the coaxial plug in(digital audio in/out), the size of rca cable. the thing used to work before but i dont know whats differnt from then till now... i think i might try a digital coaxial to digital optical converter and just run of a toslink... i tried runnin my dvd player with has both coaxial and optical auido, when hooked through the optical cable works, when i use the coaxial it dont work.... i have made sure i have the appropiate mode setup for coaxial, i have it running as the cdr slot on my reciever so whatever i have hooke through the coaxial i have to have the reviever on cdr but still dont work.... i noticed that when things are hooked to it, it stays on analog.but coaxial is a digital input so it shouldnt say that, should switch to digital... thanx for the help so far guys.
