heres what I'm trying to do. Im trying to take one of the slots in my cd player and use it to wire my satellite radio to it. I have the blaupunkt sr04 wireless reciever. So far my supplies list is a bunch of wire, a single pull double throw relay, and a nice switch. what do I need to disconnect solder, recoonect and all that junk. Its in a 98 audi a4 with the stock everything.

that is not a hard installation, it is just hard to get the radio out of the dash. There should be 4 slots on the corners that you will slide a flat metal "key" into. By carefully pushing the keys in you should be able to simply pull the radio out. In reality you need 2 people to work all 4 keys, and 30 mins of cussing and it should come out.

You only need to connect 3 wires, a switch, and the antenna. For your car however I believe you will also need 2 antenna adaptors, available at most car audio stores. If you get a switch that can handle an amp or two of current(most do) you will not need the relay. Other general install parts are wire cutters/strippers, connectors(crimp prefered, and a crimper then) as well as the audi keys and a voltmeter er testlight(and know how to work it).

I/we can get most people through something like this, but I do not know how technical you are. If your willing to try so are we....

i don't think i fully understand what you mean fleishlja. are you saying you want to use your cd player as input for the satellite radio?? or are you wanting to play the satelltie radio through a radio station on your radio?? please explain.
