I have an 1963 impala that I installed a system. I can't get the alternator noise out of the sound. It has a 1 wire 100 amp alternator if it makes any difference. I seperated the RCA 's cables and power wire, but it did not do anything. If anyone can give me any ideas on what to do.

old cars can be difficult to get noise out of, unless you run some good equipment. What do you have?
