my question is for a factory install of a 1999 nissan avenir dvd navigation system where whould i find the wire that connect to the hand brake so that the tv can show while driving ? this car is from japan. (a) if i put the hand brake wire to ground it work but the hand brake light in the dash will be on .

u could make it a little more complicated, but it would work, by puttin a switch on the light to be able to turn it off when u want to, or disconnect it altogether, that's my ghetto fix for u...

why cant you just ground it elsewhere?
