Home stereo equipment in car

There might have been a few topics like this one already but i was just hopin to get help faster. I'm settin up the equipment in a 1987 Chevy Blazer. The stereo is stock, doesnt have cd player either... I'm gettin a fainter signal on the left channel, no clue y, but here's what i've got setup... i have the amp, which is i think 200 watts per channel, and it draws 140 watts idle, i have 2 200 watt loud speakers with tweeters and midranges disconnected, leaving 2 12" woofers, not sure about wattage on those, then i have 1 6" 150 watt home theater sub, and 1 10" 180 watt logitech (yes computer sub) subwoofer, note this is just temporary until i get around to buyin my real stuff.

i have the 12" woofers setup one on each channel to the amp, then the other two subs 1 on a channel with each 12" woofer, all the speakers are 8 ohms, they are connected in parallel, which isnt doin to good for my amp but it is just temporary.

now for the amp, i have the treble all the way down and the bass at default 0, no use in puttin in an actual crossover since this works ok, and it's temporary, the amp is for home use so i have it plugged into an inverter rated 300 watts nominal, 500 max, it's plenty to fairly power my amp i thought, then of course the inverter is plugged into the cigarette lighter

that's obviously not a good way to hook it up, i blew the fuse that runs on this circuit, which also includes the horn, dome lamps, glove box lamp, clock, L.H. courtesy lamp, lift gate release solenoid, and the lighter... the lift gate takes plenty of amps when u press the button, makes the lights go dim when nothing else is on... all that is hooked up to just one 20 amp fuse, my question is what would be a good way to hook up my cigarette lighter straight to the battery with it's own circuit breaker/fuse? sorry for it being long and prolly hard to under stand, i was messin with it at 1 in the mornin, and it's 2 now while i'm writin it, sorry bout that

dont the inverters, have clamps for pos and neg to hook upto the battery? if so just use them to run the the battery, get terminals and crimp them in place of the clamps, and run a circut breaker or high amp fuse that accomidates the inverter, and that should work shouldnt it?
