I have a 96 S-10 Ext Cab P/U. I am looking for the best way to put a subwoofer enclosure in my truck for competition. I am installing 2 12" Tarantula subs. I have 2 SPL 12" subs in there nowwith the box mounted on a shelf flush with the rear winndow., facing upwards. I am reading about 145db at the roof, but only 138db at the windshield. Facing subs up in One of the more common spl setups in trucks. Are u talking about Soundstream woofers? its been a while since i heard about anyone using Soundstream gear. Don't know what response you were looking for, hoped I got somewhere. RTM Tray on 07/9/2003 10:23:48 You could try angling them towards the bottom rear of the cab. I increased my SPL almost 2.5 db by doing this in my F-150. Copyright ClubKnowledge 2009 * All Rights Reserved |
