just installed a new alpine head unit in a friends truck, bought another alpine because we were going to use his existing cd changer. after installing HU discovered the plugs were different between the changer and the head unit. Acoording to local alpine dealer they make an adapter to go from a old alpine headunit to a new cd changer but not the other way around, anyone know if any aftermarket companies make an adapter to do what I want?

i don't think they make an adapter from new to old. if they have, i have not seen it.
you can use an FM modulator if you want to keep it that bad. won't get as good as cd quality though.
