Hey wutsup, Can anyone help on tuning this box http://www.icixsound.com/vb/icixnation/images/38_55.gif to 35hz, its 2.5cf at 30 hz on the link

I dont know about anyone else, but I cant read the dimensions on that enclosure...do you have them handy

To change PTF from 30 to 35 Hz., will have to adjust the port dimensions. That will involve calculating the present area of the port and reducing it in overall area to reach your target. Best to either contact e-Designs and get their inputs here or used an advance ported/vent enclosure calulation tool to ontain the desired results.

I don't see why you would want to deviate from the recommended design shown. The 5Hz difference in PTF is really inaudable to the human ear. That's why folks choose a 15" sub. They want to feel the ultra-low bass and hear the rest as well.

One option that does make sense and easy to do, employ a SS filter that will block frequencies below 35 Hz. That makes much more sense than trying to modify an optimized enclosure design mentioned.
